Our vision at TLC is to foster the traits of compassion, commitment, creativity, courage, curiosity, and collaboration within each child. To fulfill this vision, our mission at TLC is to create an environment where children enjoy learning and realize their academic potential. The educational needs of the whole child are met by providing hands-on, experiential academics in combination with outdoor education, artistic expression, service learning, and TEAM work.

TLC emphasizes cooperative learning and confidence building, and offers a creative learning environment that stimulates and encourages individual progress and recognizes each child’s unique gifts. Our integrated approach allows our students to discover new abilities, deepen their knowledge of themselves and their community, and determine how to create a positive impact in their world. This discovery is the heart of The Learning Community School.
